29 April - week 1 playing update
Kia ora in-house teams, thanks for your patience as we try and ensure everyone gets a game this first week, despite the pitch restrictions from Auckland Council. Please read below carefully for more information on pitch maps, and times for each team.
The format of your session will be as discussed at the briefing - each session will be a full 60min session; there are more specifics on how that time is broken down on the fixtures web page and in the coaches briefing notes. Review the briefing info for guidelines on timings, and the hooter will be provided to guide you through the timings of the session.
Briefing info from Monday can be found here:

4-5th grade you will meet on the outside steps at the northern end of the clubroom at 8:30am on Saturday, and we’ll assign you to a pitch.
All other grades you should go straight to your pitch.
All the information about this week’s (and every week’s) draw is provided & updated on our website: https://aucklandunitedfc.org.nz/inhouse-fixtures
For week 1 please make sure you are using the WEEK 1 information on the fixtures page - this will be different to subsequent weeks (including the pitch layout).
A reminder also that the Clubhouse Cafe will be open for dinner on Friday night, and for coffee & snacks on Saturday morning. Take a look at their menu here 🍽️

Please note we are a fully licensed and catered venue - your own alcohol, or other commercially prepared/purchased food isn’t allowed in the clubhouse. Please also be aware of Auckland Council alcohol restrictions in the wider Keith Hay Park precinct: https://www.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/content/dam/ac/docs/licence-and-compliance/alcoholbanmapspuketapapa1.pdf
We have 97 teams and over 750 players registered! So please be aware that the session times will be busy. Please allow for time for parking, walking over to the clubroom, finding your pitch etc. As you can see we’re pretty tight on timings, so even if you end up starting late we will still need you to vacate the pitch so the next team can get on and play.
Look for our club reps in black AUFC tops, and highly visible orange vests 🧡
Above all, remember it’s about helping the kids have fun on the pitch!
Any further questions please reach out to your grade coordinator on your team whatsapp group.
Thanks and we’ll see you down on the pitch… ⚽
