Ben Sippola Appointed Premier Men’s Head Coach for 2026

Auckland United FC is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Sippola as Premier Men’s Head Coach for the 2026 season.

Ben joins the club in a dual role as Premier Men’s Head Coach and Academy Director, strengthening Auckland United’s focus on high-performance football and player development, with clear pathways from the Academy into senior football.

Ben brings extensive experience across both senior and youth environments within New Zealand football. He is widely respected for his work with Ole Academy and Western Suburbs, as well as his successful tenure with Wanaka FC, and arrives at Auckland United following his most recent role with the Wellington Phoenix.

Across these roles, Ben has built a reputation for creating high-performance environments, developing young players, and creating clear football structures that support both individual growth and team success.

In his role at United, Ben will lead the Premier Men’s programme while also overseeing the Academy, ensuring alignment between the club’s development pathway and its senior football ambitions.

The club looks forward to Ben’s arrival as preparations get underway for the 2026 season and the next phase of the Premier Men’s programme.
