Auckland United F.C Premier Women Defend Rennell Cup Title

Auckland United FC’s Premier Women have successfully defended the Rennell Cup, claiming a 2–0 victory over Eastern Suburbs AFC Women in Round 9 of the LOTTO NRFL Women’s Premiership.

Now, his connection to football continues through his three granddaughters, who play for Auckland United FC. He’s a familiar face at football grounds across Auckland, cheering them on most weekends.

Rennell Cup Results:

• 2023 – Eastern Suburbs (4–1 win)

• 2024 – Auckland United (6–1 win)

• 2025 – Auckland United (2–0 win)

The trophy is contested once a year, hosted by the current holders.
