Youth Football Information
Youth Football at Auckland United is for players aged Under 13 to Under 19, based on their age as at 1st January of the season year.
For example, if a player turns 13 during 2026, they will be in the Under 13 grade for the 2026 season.
All Youth football teams compete in the NRF Community Competition, playing against other teams in the same grade from across the Auckland region.
In 2026, Auckland United junior programme will be adopting the NZ Football Whole of Football 2.0 programme. Your 2026 grade is based on the age you/your child turns in 2026.
For example, if your child turns 13 in 2026, they will register in 13th Grade (U13). -
All players must have their own AUFC playing uniform, which can be purchased online or from the AUFC Clubrooms Shop (click here for opening times/to purchase online).

Players will also need football boots and shin pads.

Fees for all Youth grades (13th–19th Grade, Mixed & Girls) are $245 for the 2026 playing season.
To be placed in a team, fees must be paid in full.
Teams begin to be formed by Grade Coordinators in mid-March and are generally finalised and communicated to players by mid-April. Please ensure payment is made as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
