AUCKLAND UNITED FC PREMIER WOMEN
OFC Women’s Champions League Campaign 2026
An amateur team competing against professionals — and funding it ourselves.
Latest Result:
Our Premier Women secured a massive result on Friday 24 April in Wellington, holding New Zealand’s only professional women’s side, Wellington Phoenix Women, to a 2–2 draw — a testament to the quality, resilience, and belief within this group.
Overview
Auckland United FC’s Premier Women are proud to represent New Zealand on the international stage as back-to-back OFC Women’s Champions League winners.
In 2026, the team will travel to the Solomon Islands to compete once again, aiming to secure a historic third consecutive title and qualify for the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup for a second successive year.
This campaign reflects not only elite performance, but also the continued growth of women’s football within our club, across New Zealand, and throughout the wider community
The Campaign
Participation in the OFC Women’s Champions League requires significant financial investment to support:
Our objective is to raise the necessary funds to ensure our players can compete at the highest level, fully supported both on and off the field.
FROM THE WORLD STAGE… TO DOING IT ALL AGAIN
Auckland United FC’s Premier Women have already proven they belong on the global stage.
In 2025, the team represented New Zealand at the FIFA Women’s Club Champions Cup, competing against some of the best clubs in the world. It was a campaign defined by resilience, quality, and belief — ultimately decided by a heartbreaking goal in the 88th minute.
But while the performance captured attention, the journey behind it tells an even more powerful story.
MORE THAN JUST FOOTBALL
Unlike many of their international counterparts, our players are not full-time professionals.
They are:
Working full-time jobs
Studying
Managing life outside the game
All while training and competing at an elite level.
On top of this, players are required to fundraise and contribute financially to their own participation — balancing performance with real-world commitments.
THE REALITY BEHIND THE RETURN
As the team looks ahead to the 2026 OFC Women’s Champions League, the opportunity is there once again to qualify for the world stage.
But this opportunity must be earned — both on and off the field.
To compete internationally, the club is working toward raising approximately $180,000, covering:
International travel and logistics
Accommodation and tournament preparation
High-performance training and equipment
Insurance and player welfare
This is not just about returning — it’s about building the pathway back to where they’ve already proven they belong.
A TEAM BUILT ON COMMITMENT
This group represents more than results.
They represent:
Dedication beyond the pitch
Sacrifice behind the scenes
The continued growth of women’s football in New Zealand
To have already competed on the world stage — and to now be working to get back there — is a reflection of their character, ambition, and belief.

THE OPPORTUNITY
They’ve been there before.
Now they’re fighting to get back.
The Reality
This isn’t just football.
Our players balance full-time jobs, study, and training — all while funding their own journey to compete on the world stage.
They are not paid professionals.
They are representing their country out of passion and sacrifice.
Our goal: $180,000
This covers travel, accommodation, preparation, and essential costs to compete internationally.
Every donation helps us get one step closer.
We have limited time to raise the funds needed before the tournament.
Without your support, this journey becomes significantly harder.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing our campaign helps just as much.
Meet the Team
Behind this campaign is a group of dedicated athletes balancing full-time work, study, and elite football — all while chasing the opportunity to compete on the world stage.
This is the team representing Auckland United and New Zealand.
Got Ya Back Campaign
Our Premier Women are heading to the OFC Women’s Champions League this July, and we’re calling on our community to help back the squad on their journey.
To support the campaign, we’ve partnered with Got Ya Back — an innovative fundraising platform helping teams and athletes raise funds through personalised supporter apparel.
Each player has their own personalised hoodie featuring supporter spots on the back. Friends, family, businesses, teammates, sponsors — literally anyone — can claim a spot and show they’ve “Got Ya Back” this season.
Below, you’ll find each player’s profile, playing photo, and personalised link to support them directly. Contributions can be any amount, with most supporters contributing between $20–$100.
This campaign is about more than just fundraising. It’s about creating something meaningful the players can wear with pride — representing the people and community backing them throughout the journey.
🗓 Campaign closes: 1 June 2026
Every contribution goes directly towards supporting the team’s OFC campaign as they chase another Oceania title and the opportunity to qualify for the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.
🖤 Got Ya Back.
🖤 Backing the team.
🖤 Backing the dream.
