Auckland United FC Premier Women clock up 250th goal in 100th game

Watch Rene Wasi score Auckland United FC Premier Women’s 250th Goal in just 100 games!

Our Premier Women’s Round 2 match vs Ellerslie AFC marked their 100th match since Auckland United FC formed in 2020.

Clocking up 100 games in only 4 seasons highlights the consistent success of our Women’s first team, with deep runs into the Kate Sheppard Cup (Including winning in 2022), playing in back to back National League Championships (winning in 2023) and becoming the first NZ team to play in the OFC Women’s Champions League, and claim the 2024 title!

In addition to notching their 100th game, another huge feat was also achieved during the match when Rene Wasi fired in a rocket to score our 250th Premier Women’s Goal (the match ending 4-0 vs Ellerslie takes the current tally to 252 goals).

Special thanks to Bill Raffles for providing stats for both our Premier Teams!
